Lee Senior Pastor and District Overseer Bishop Louis McLeod
Since I have been threathen with an injunction by NTCG and their denial about Bishop Louis McLeod The Church Law Campaign has been publishing in full, in the public's interest these allegations.
Mr McLeod was described by retired Bishop UL Simpson of Lee NTCG as "one of us" in his sadistic verbal attack on a victim who dare to complain abut the conduct of Rev. David Williams of the Ilford New Testament Church of God. Mr McLeod, then serving as National Secretary at the head quaters of the NTCG where he also acts as the Director of the church as a charity, was nominated earlier by Bshop Simpson as his successor.

The decision to appoint Mr McLeod Mr Simpson said, was through a vision. Controversial Simpson who who verbally abuse, intimdate and threathen a victim at his 7th December 2008 and March 1st 2009 church service told the congregation at Lee in one of his sermons that he had asked God who he should hand over the pastoring of the Lee church to. He said God responded later when he "showed him his face". Mr McLeod's face that is. As a result the national Bishop Eric Brown was asked to relieve McLeod from his post to pastor the Lee NTCG, which he took over in June 2009 following two lavish retirement services for Simpson.
I am not sure what sort of vision God could give people who conduct themselves in the manner Simpson had done, but he certainly have his support from those within his church who had sort financial gains, positions and status, who had been dead set on 'propping up' Simpson over the years. Simpson was also good at recruiting and delegating tasks to others within the church from secular professions who could use their skills within the church toorganise things for him. This was his major success. As a result, on the surface the Lee church appears to be well organise, respectable and alive, but in reality, below the surface the church was the Church in Sardis and Laodiceans who Jesus wrote to in the book of Revelation chapter 3. Lee NTCG also seem plagued by legal conflicts which are caused by the poor conflict management strategies by Simpson who uses his solicitors instead of the guidelines lay down in the Church of God Minutes Book. He never seem to believe he must handle things in a Christian way and his sermons often contained some comments on legal proceedings involving churches and individuals in the press and elsewhere.

The allegations about McLeod is true which is the reason why I am calling for his resignation. The facts related to a Court case against NTCG, Rev. David Williams, Rev. Sharon Miller and Bishop UL Simpson following the complainantmaking a data protection request to the church's administrator and Lee assistant pastor Rev. Malcolm Cummins. The facts are:
Lee NTCG and the defendants deliberately withheld information to which the complainant was entitled to under Section 7 of the Data Protection Act 1998 and have failed to respond to repeated request to account for the missing documents, to confirmed who else they have been disclosed to and to provide copies of the same.
There were several emails and fax with repeated requests sent to Sharon Miller and Malcolm Cummins on 2nd, 9th and 11th March 2009 and 27th February 2009 and to Ms Miller on 7th March 2009. The email and fax of 9th of March was also copied to Leony Titus, PA to the administrative Bishop Eric Brown. No response confirming whether the information sort still exist and why they are not being enclosed.
The original data protection requestwas made in January 2009 and the £10 administration fee was paid and some information was submitted by Rev. Cummins and Rev. Miller. Other vital information such as correspondences and findings of Bishop Eric Brown's investigation into Rev. Wlliams conduct was missing and unaccounted for, despite Mr brown writing to the complainant a letter dated 13th February 2009 informing her that he was writing to Bishop Simpson to investigate the complain against Rev. Williams. Mr Brown had so far failed to his date to provide a response of his findings on his investigation.
Since the complainant was entitled to his information under the data protection act as it involves her and identified her as the data subject, she decided take the matter to Court.
In trying to defend the reputation of NTCG and to protect those involves Mr McLeod attend to give evidencewhich he did not get an opportunity to do as the case was adjourned. Shockingly, McLeod had provided a witness statement NTCG barristers was preseting to the Court which they had not yet provided to the complainant, a witness statement whichwas laced with 'McLeod lies'. Contrary to the witness statement by Louis McLeod dated 24th March 2009, the Claimant was at no time advised she had lost her membership due to lack of attendance and she had been a regular church attendee up to 3-4 times per week and have not been absent from the Lee church for more than 6 months, the time of absence required by which a member can loose their membership. There is also no attendance register kept by the church.
Further 'Mr McLeod lies' in his witness statement is that the church holds no file and information on the Claimant. The evidence shows a letter by Rev. Malcom Cummins dated 25th February 2009 and letter by Rev. Sharon Miller dated 11th March 2009 whic confirms that they do hold a file on the Claimant contrary to Mr McLeod claims.
After the aring was adjourned the claimant had an opportunity to get hold of McLeod's witness statements and the documentary evidence against NTCG was then released to them as they were not yet in receit of the evidence prior to McLeod's denials. They immediatelytried to cover-up their lies by getting their solicitors to make a submission to the Court on 1st May 2009 admitting they hold information about the complainant contrary to what McLeod stated in his witness statement.
NTCG were not in receipt of the evidence seen by the Court prior to McLeod's witness statement and it is likely that Mr Cummins, Miss Miller and Mr Simpson of the local church had lied to Mr McLeod who was at the time base solely at NTCG head office. Having a misguided trust and confidence in his own ministers and have not investigated the claimant?s complaint Mr McLeod provided a witness statement which is base on lies and deceits amounting to perjury.
The claimant's application for the DVD of the church service of 7th December 2008 which Mr McLeod said in is witness statement was on sale for purchase was also another 'McLeod lies' as the unedited footage which were missing from the video recordings are not on sale and the evidence from the church?s own media department in an email dated 9th March 2009 confirmed that the DVD purchased was edited, and there are sections of the purchased DVD such as an explanation of Mr Simpson?s comment ?looking for trouble you come to the right place? was provided by him on the same DVD in question, but there were not seen on the DVD prior to this explanation and other sections at the beginning and middle of the DVD at the subject of the claimant case was missing. There were over 100 witnesses to this service.
Rev Louis McLeod and those involve is guilty of unbecoming behaviour defined in the Church of God Minutes Book which is the reason why the church had worked so hard at denying the complainant access to the Minutes Book from day one. They had done everything in their powers to suppress her complain and to provide the findings of Eric Brown's investigation. Their case, as demonstrated in McLeod's witness statement is build on LIES. Their claims also that a letter to Rev. David Williams was not marked as 'confidential' giving him a right to disclose it is also shocking as we all know there is a presumed confidntiality with all information received by pastors and religious ministers. It was for Rev. Williams to seek clarification if he was unsure, but he was never unsured as the victim made cleared to him and Rev. Cummins her intentions. Rev. Williams was simply malicious and was defending the status quo. He s also at the time madeundant from his job and actively seeking to play a greater role in ministry.
You can now see why I have accused McLeod of lying in a witness statement and why I have been calling for his resignation along with the resignation of Rev. Cummins, Rev Williams and Bishop Brown. This information is within the public's interest and the interest of the membership of NTCG who are unaware of these facts about their leaders, therefore we will not comply with NTCG ladership's 14 day request to remove our blogs about them as the allegations are true and we will therefore fight any Court actions by them to remove these articles. Their Court case will only draw more attention to themselves and bring victims out the woodworks which wil be good for the edification of the church.
