Those of you who have been following this blog would have read my previous coverage of the case involving New Testament Church of God(NTCG) and several of their ministers which was heard at the Bromley County Court in August 2009 following the case being postpone in March 2009 and the claimant application to withdraw the case.

The Department for Communities and Local Government had now agreed to give our campaign some attention.

The Head of Ministerial Correspondence had requested that we contact him again if we do not have a response within a reasonable deadline. We are currently awaiting response from other MPs and the Tory Party. Supporters of CLC should contact their local MPs regarding our campaign.

We are all familiar with traditional cults such as the Mormons and the Jehovah's Witnesses. There are, however, other groups with cultic characteristics that do not fit the same profile as the traditional cults. Sometimes called "abusive churches" or even "Bible-based cults," they appear outwardly orthodox in their doctrinal beliefs. What distinguishes these groups or churches from genuine orthodox Christianity is their abusive, cultic-like methodology and philosophy of ministry.

This bible verse applies to Eric Brown and his fellow corrupt leaders, not just their congregations.
